“…When thy fingers grasp the paint brush…”

I wrote a post the other day, baring my heart and soul and I deleted it because I felt so vulnerable. I didn’t realize I had so many replies from so many of you who have been going through similar struggles. Thank you so much for your kind words of support and your beautiful emails. I am so touched and so blessed to have so many beautiful friends.

I would like to quote a message from a lovely lady  “I want you to know that even if you’re not painting, you are observing the world and yourself as an artist. That is who you are, not necessarily what you do. I am confident it will come back… because it is the process that draws you, not the piece. All of the darkness is part of the process. And as they say, without the darkness you cannot see the light. You are true, you are whole, you are the light.”

Thank you for your for your beautiful words of encouragement, your words really touched my heart.

For those of you who are going through some personal struggles,  hang in there, it will get better even when it seems so dark and you can’t find the strength to get out of bed. Take one step at a time. Follow the Light because there is so much comfort therein.

I would like to share an inspirational quote with you….

“I rejoice to hear that thou takest pains with thine art, for in this wonderful new age, art is worship. The more thou strivest to perfect it, the closer wilt thou come to God. What bestowal greater than this, that one’s art should be even as the act of worshipping the Lord? That is to say, when thy fingers grasp the paint brush, it is as if thou wert at prayer in the Temple.”     ~’Abdu’l-Bahá

Much love
